## What "training on your data" means — and why it matters

Some AI products use free-tier submissions, uploaded files, or user interactions to improve their underlying models. That means your content — your strategy sessions, client notes, internal plans — could end up influencing what the model outputs for other users.

## How BoardSnap's AI actually works

When BoardSnap generates a summary or action items from your whiteboard photo, it calls BoardSnap's AI. This is a contractual API relationship — the same kind enterprise software companies use when they want guarantees about how their data is handled.

Under BoardSnap's commercial API data usage policy, inputs sent via the API are not used to train or improve any model. You're not the product; you're the customer paying for AI inference.
